An annual award providing high profile recognition of exceptional work performance by an individual employee, employee team, or work unit.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Employees are recognized for specific accomplishments in one or more of the following areas of performance, achievement, or conduct:

  • Leadership

  • Innovation

  • Quality

  • Customer Service

  • Productivity

  • Timeliness

  • Employee Morale

  • Teamwork

  • Any employee may be considered for this award, however, executive-level employees will be held to a higher standard of performance

Selection Process

  • Any ABOR employee or customer may submit a nomination

  • Nomination process begins each January

  • An Award Committee, appointed by Senior Staff, reviews nominations and makes recommendations to the Executive Director

  • Award Committee:

    • 1 Senior Staff

    • 2 Professional Staff

    • 1 Classified Staff

    • Human Resources Administrator

Award Presentation

  • Award consists of:

    • Individual or team plaque

    • Letter of appreciation signed by Executive Director

    • Posting of award on ABOR's web site

  • Award presented by Executive Director at annual Employee Appreciation Day
