Jacquie Dorrance is involved with many community organizations including the Kachina Country Day School Board, Junior League of Phoenix, Ronald McDonald House, COMPAS, the Desert Foundation Auxiliary, Hospice of the Valley, the Phoenix Art Museum, and the Arizona Science Center, and the Steele Memorial Children’s Research Center. She has been actively involved in many charity fundraising events, including the Heart Ball, the Phoenix Art Museum League Fashion Show, the COMPAS Auction, the Phoenix Day Capital Campaign, and the Arizona Kidney Foundation Authors Luncheon. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona.

Bennett Dorrance is managing director of DMB Associates, a diverse real estate and investment company. He is involved in all major acquisitions, disposition, financing, and development activities of DMB’s real estate portfolio. In addition, he directs DMB’s health club operations for the Arizona Athletic Club, The Village Racquet & Health Club and the Gainey Village Health Club and Spa. Prior to the formation of DMB, Dorrance was involved in residential real estate projects in Mexico and the development of office and athletic facilities in the Phoenix area.

He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Campbell Soup Company in Camden, New Jersey and The Larson Company in Tucson. Dorrance is an active member in a number of professional and community organizations, including the Boards of Directors of The Arizona Community Foundation, The American Graduate School of International Management, and the Desert Botanical Garden. He also serves on the Governance Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona.

The Dorrances have been leading supporters of Northern Arizona University’s effort to create premier learning experiences for teachers and students in Arizona. They have assisted NAU’s Center for Excellence in Education in establishing outreach efforts to fill the needs of the K-16 educational community, and to establish a broad plan for the recruitment and retention of students in the Center for Excellence in Education, guaranteeing Arizona’s critical supply of quality teachers.

At Arizona State University, the Dorrances have established an endowed scholarship for the College of Business Honor students. They also have supported the College of Business Dean’s Council, the College of Public Programs, the College of Fine Arts and the Alumni Association.

At the University of Arizona, Jacquie is a founding member of the Phoenix Women’s Board for the Steele Memorial Children’s Research Center. She helped create the organization that is raising nearly $150,000 each year for research to improve children’s health. The first two years of funding from the Phoenix Women’s Board, also called PANDA (People Acting Now Discover Answers) went toward important research equipment. This year PANDA will help launch the career of a young researcher with a PANDA fellowship.

The Dorrances also sponsor the Dorrance Merit Scholarship, providing three scholarships at each university for first generation college students.
