Regent’s Tuition Hearing on February 25, 2004
The annual Arizona Board of Regents’ tuition hearing will be on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. The annual hearing is designed to provide students and families an opportunity to address the members of the Board regarding university tuition, financial aid and other financial concerns.
The hearing will be conducted via interactive television, connecting the three main campuses and other campus sites. The hearing also will be broadcast on cable television and on the internet. Those who wish to address the Board can attend at any of the campus locations listed below. Comments will be heard on a first come, first served basis, with participating sites rotating throughout the hearing.
The Board is expected to set undergraduate, resident, nonresident and graduate student tuition and mandatory fees for 2004-2005 at its meeting March 11, 2004 at the University of Arizona in Tucson. At the same meeting, the Board also will approve residence hall rates for 2004-2005.
Also in keeping with the Board’s tuition process, each of the university presidents has disclosed his recommendations for tuition increases. Recommendations and other information can be found on the ABOR website at: http://www.abor.asu.edu.
